Leslie Stowe’s Cranberry Hazelnut Raincoast Crisps
with Brie cheese. Brie cheese goes with all the crisps, but she doesn’t mention it to go with the sweeter cranberry hazelnut selection, though I think it’s even more delicious.

Passed by the New Eclectic on Granville today, mostly because I saw these gorgeous porcelain mugs with initials in 18th century French script that I just couldn’t pass up. I love anything personalized, only tastefully, of course. No rainbow coloured bookmarks or door signs, but stationary, anything embroidered or just anything that screams taste and that it’s mine. But I digress. I have decided that this is my new fave store – it’s decorated how I would love my bachelorette pad to be, boudoir style with Plum Sykes’ The Debutante Divorcee and Peter Post’s Essential Manners for Couples on the end table (both of which I picked up at bargain bin prices at Chapters today. I don’t usually talk prices, but around the $5 mark?)
Anyway, the store is gorgeous… filled with tableware, crystal

medallion bookmarks, candles and various tasteful this and thats. Everything in the store except for the cosmetics is 30% off! So I bought the Rosanna Initially Yours porcelain mugs and I overheard that they were bestsellers over the holidays and will be getting more in. And I was panicking thinking that they were clearing it out! Comes in these cute little boxes. Looking at the mugs, sometimes I wish that my parents chose a name for me that could be written beautifully, like V, or O…
And these beautiful hand poured soy wax candles from A Scent Of Scandal, with scandalous names and befitting accompanying scents such as MILF (milk and cookies), Out of the Closet (Cedar), Original Sin (fig leaf), Knocked Up (baby powder), Walk of Shame (early morning dew), 8 Inches (banana), D-Cups (melons), One Night Stand (margaritas), Gold Digger (carat cake), Skinny Bitch (wafer)…
Truly original!
